Chapter 3: Ash
‘Twas the day before school. Young Ashley woke up early excited towards this new endeavor. He packed his dressed and waited for Frederick to finish packing. He loaded their luggage into a metallic machinery referred to as a car. Wanting to make sure everything was perfect Taylor headed back to the academy first.
“Milord please remember others may confuse you for a female. As it is advantageous to hide your true self as much as possible do not divulge your true sex if possible.”
“Understood.”
Frederick or Freddy as Ashley begun calling him lately; opened the car door for him. Ashley sat down on the white leather seat. Freddy went up front starting the car he pulled out of the mountain cottage. Pushing some buttons the car went into auto drive. On the way to the private airport he reviewed all the materials about human customs. Once there he was greeted by the pilots and the crew.
“Welcome Ms. Exodia,” the Asian pilot welcomed him.
With an exalting smile he replied, “I’ll be in your care captain.”
His beauty captivated the captain causing him to blush. A crew came and took loaded the luggage onto the plane. Freddy boarded the plane ahead of him sitting in the cockpit.
“Thank you for your services,” Ashley turned to the three hostesses.
On the plane he admired the human’s ingenuity. Building a contraption which would let them fly. When Taylor told him this he yearned to try one. Sitting in a plush leather chair triple his size. His delicate fingers held a glace of carbonated, sugar mortal potion which humans called soda.
“Too bad Taylor won’t let me have more. Why restrict such goodness?” he shook his head. His curly locks swayed across his shoulders.
“Hello, crew prepare to depart,” the captain spoke on the speaker.
The hostesses did their final check. Giving the captain the all clear the plane rose up the ground. Reaching around 65,000 meters it propelled forward. Due to the shortness of the flight the hostesses only served a light meal. An older hostess with graying hair named Beatrice brought a tray of dessert to him.
Ashley sat upright. “Oh marvelous sweets,” his dulcet voice enchanted the cabin.
Beatrice the elder hostess served him a slice of chocolate cake.
“WAAAH,” Ashley exclaimed. “So good!”
He grabbed the whole cake wolfing it down. Seeing his petite body one would wonder how he could stay so slim with his eating habit. Finishing the whole cake he washed it all down with his favorite grape soda.
“Thank you,” kissing Beatrice on the cheek. His angelic face beamed.
“My pleasure Miss Ashley,” the older hostess replied flustered.
Elaine a young brunette pulled out a bag.
“Miss Ashley have you ever worn makeup?” Yvonne the other hostess asked him.
Shaking his head, “Taylor said I shouldn’t.” A mischievous smile spread on his rosy lips. “She’s not here to stop us. I can wash it afterwards correct.”
The hostesses nodded, “I’ll leave the rest to you three then.”
The trio treated him like a doll. Applying makeup, changing his look. Finally they were done. Ashley grabbed a mirror to look at himself. He appreciated what he saw. They applied just enough makeup to accentuate his beauty. He blinked batting his long eyelashes.
Truly he looked like an otherworldly splendor. “Everyone we will began our descent to Corisco in a couple minutes. For your safety please take a seat.”
The airplane lowered to the ground. Ashley greeted the captain, “Thank you for your hard work.” The older man unable to reply turned red.
Outside the plane Taylor greeted him along with a couple other people. As he climbed down the stairs Taylor spoke. “Ashley welcome to Terrest.”
He could sense the numerous humans on the Island. “Emria, is this the place you and Yitfret built?”
“Yes Milord, a place where you can enjoy human life to the fullest.”
Shifting his gaze upward he saw the Gate. “Is this where ‘they’ came”
“Yes Milord,” Freddy answered. “Unfortunately by forcing the gate opened ‘they’ have allowed undesirables to come in as well.”
Ashley nodded smiling at the group receiving him. “Emria investigate this gate see if you can close it.”
“As you wish. Milord I got so excited this morning I decided to cook for you.”
He panicked. He looked at Freddy, yet this one seemed to have vanished in thin air. Not wanting to experience this food he ran.
“Milord, Yitfret after your walk come home the food will get cold.”
Ashley gulped her last statement reinvigorated him. In his haste he made way to the city. As he ran he bumped into a human at full speed. The human crashed into a nearby wall cracking her head, there on the spot she died. With a quick scan he realized he was alone.
Ashley needed to activate his magic so as to not set off Taylor. If Taylor sensed his magic she’d come investigate. There was no way he could explain the dead student.
<Je suis>
Activating the least amount of magic possible he kissed the palm of his soft hand. Than he blew a kiss towards the dead body. A rush of warm wind blasted the human female. Her wound closed, he sensed her heartbeat resume. The red blood which painted her face disappeared. Repairing the wall he erased all evidence. Snapping his fingers her eyes opened.
